See it. Shoot it. Tell it beautifully.
28–30 August 2026 · Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi · Fee ₹6,000
The camera is where a story first becomes cinema. To help filmmakers master that craft, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) presents a powered short course, “Digital Cinematography,” at Film Expo India, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
This three-day, hands-on Digital Cinematography course, directed by Bharat Arora, teaches the art and science of shooting for the screen — from camera fundamentals to advanced lighting, exposure, colour and lensing techniques — so you can capture stories with precision and cinematic vision.

Inside the Course
This is a course built around doing, not just watching. Across three focused days you’ll work directly with camera and light — understanding how sensors, exposure, lenses and colour come together to create a frame with intention. The emphasis throughout is a repeatable practical workflow you can carry onto your own sets.
Whether you’re stepping up from photography, sharpening your craft, or building a professional showreel, you’ll leave able to light, expose and shape a shot with confidence — and with the eye to tell any story beautifully.
Two Batches — Choose Your Slot
To keep groups small and the training genuinely hands-on, the course runs in two separate batches across the same three days. Both cover the identical curriculum — simply pick the slot that fits your schedule at the expo.
