AI in Filmmaking

Create. Innovate. Storytell with AI.

26–27 August 2026  ·  Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi  ·  Fee ₹5,000

Artificial intelligence has moved from the fringes of the film industry into its core — the writers’ room, the concept-art board, the edit suite and the colour bay. To help filmmakers meet this shift with craft rather than anxiety, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) presents a powered short course, “AI in Filmmaking,” at Film Expo India, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Directed by Rajesh Bhatia and Bharat Arora, this is a two-day, hands-on course that takes you through the art and craft of AI filmmaking — from concept to screen. Over the sessions you’ll explore cutting-edge tools, techniques and workflows to create stunning visuals, compelling stories and immersive films.

Inside the Course

This is a course built around doing, not just watching. Across two focused days you’ll learn to move an idea from concept to finished shot using AI — working directly with the tools, understanding where each fits in a real production pipeline, and building a repeatable practical workflow you can carry back into your own films.

The emphasis throughout is craft. AI is treated not as a novelty but as a working discipline: a way to amplify your creative voice, speed up pre-production, generate concept visuals and immersive sequences, and tell stories that would otherwise be out of reach.

Two Batches — Choose Your Slot

To keep groups small and the training genuinely hands-on, the course runs in two separate batches across the same two days. Both cover the identical curriculum — simply pick the slot that fits your schedule at the expo.
